Pablo is Partner of the Real Estate Practice and has also a highly significant role in the Corporate and Mergers & Acquisitions, Joint Ventures practices of Von Wobeser y Sierra. He has more than 13 years of experience advising multinational clients including several on the Fortune 500 list. Pablo has been directly involved in several of the most groundbreaking corporate matters and transactions that have taken place in Mexico in the past couple of years. He is an expert in advising multinational clients that are expanding their business operations in Mexico throughout the various phases of their business cycle (from establishing a company, to expanding business operations via new subsidiaries or factories and the daily management of a company). Furthermore, he has thorough experience regarding complicated mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures that have a solid real estate component and has been involved in substantial projects that represent an important investment for the country. He has aided clients in identifying the correct location and land for their investment as well as all the legal advise required to follow through on business ventures in order for them to come to fruition.

Representative Matters

Advised Grupo Modelo in the negotiations and all necessary matters in regards to the purchase of land in order to ensure that the property will have the potential, material conditions, permits, authorizations and licenses required to construct the plant, as well as the supervision of the re-division and merging of 3 million m2 of land. USD $115 million.

Advised to Grupo Modelo in the negotiations and all necessary matters in order to make the sale of the Plant as well as the regularization and re-division of the property. USD $600 million.

Advised client in all legal matters related to the modification of legal status from social to private property of 197 hectares of land and its subdivision and merger in order to acquire property. USD $730 million.

Advised Anheuser-Busch Inbev to conclude the sale of the partnership interests of a company and consequently all its assets to Constellation Brands, Inc. USD $600 million.

Advised Mars in the acquisition of Chocolates Turin. Turin controls approximately 5% of the Mexican chocolate market, which is worth more than USD $1.1 billion.

Advised an automotive company in connection with the acquisition of an autoparts company in Mexico. Approximately, USD $2 billion.

Advised Anheuser Busch InBev in one of their important strategic operations regarding the asset purchase including trademarks, machinery and other equipment of Cermex (Cervecería Mexicana S.A. de C.V.).

Advised Anheuser Busch InBev in the asset purchase including the full trademark portfolio, machinery and brewing factory.
