Von Wobeser y Sierra, S.C. is fully committed to promoting diversity in the firm. Since its establishment in 1986, its founding partners proposed to create an inclusive firm offering opportunities for development of talent, rewarding commitment regardless of different origins. Recently the firm has strengthened its commitment through the Diversity Committee which is promoting equal opportunity on the job regardless of gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic level, different capacities and any other form of diversity existing in Von Wobeser including profession, religion and nationality, among others.
As one of its symbolic acts, the firm has signed the promise of Equal Representation in Arbitration (ERA), which was launched on May 18, 2016 in London to help women in arbitration. The document encourages the world dispute resolution community to push for an increase in the number of women arbitrators. In addition, Von Wobeser y Sierra has actively supported women lawyers through Abogadas Mx, a recently formed Mexican non-profit organization that focuses on the preparation of women lawyers in the business world.
