We hereby inform you that on January 26, 2017, the decree enacting the General Law on the Protection of Personal Data in possession of Responsible Parties (the "Law") was published in the Official Federal Gazette, and it entered into force on January 27, 2017.
According to the second transitory article of this decree, the National Congress and the state legislatures will have one year from the publication to make the necessary legal adjustments for the application of the constitutional amendments.
