On December 16th , 2016 the Energy Regulatory Commission ("CRE") officially issued the administrative criteria establishing several requirements and granting a time extension to execute interconnection agreements for permit holders under the previous legal electricity framework.
These agreements can be established by any individual that has obtained or requested self-supply, cogeneration, independent production, small production, importation and exportation permits related to electricity before the date of entry into force of the Electricity Industry Law.
