The Thompson Reuters 2015 TrustLaw Index of Pro Bono report has recognized Von Wobeser y Sierra as the Mexican firm with the most hours dedicated to Pro Bono. Additionally, it is also identified as one of the top 10 firms in Latin America most committed to Pro Bono work.
 
Article 29 Bis is added to the National Workers Housing Fund Institute Law in relation to Subcontracting

The purpose of this reform is to increase the investigative authority of INFONAVIT in relation to the companies that use a subcontracting regime.

On June 4th of this year the Decree adding article 29 Bis to the National Workers Housing Fund Institute (INFONAVIT) Law was published in the Official Federal Gazette. The purpose of this reform is to increase the investigative authority of INFONAVIT in relation to the companies that use a subcontracting regime (outsourcing) and, principally, to delineate the responsibility between the contracting company and the outsourcing company.

With this, the bidding process's rules and conditions, and the final draft are already defined, giving legal certainty to all bidding process participants (the Bidders).

Reform in the Field to Combat Corruption

On April 22nd, 2015, the Chamber of Senators approved the constitutional reform in the area of fighting corruption. Now pending is the approval of the majority of the legislatures of the States which is required in order to pass a constitutional reform. Once this majority is attained it will be published in the Official Journal of the Federation.
